In his early years, Allen Wastler was a transportation reporter at The Journal of Commerce, where he honed his knowledge of cargo before writing Cargo Kills. The knowledge shows, so that what you have here is a dual purpose read. It is highly entertaining, engaging and well-written. And it conveys in digestible bites a very sophisticated knowledge of global logistics. Really happy to read it -- and recommend it.Product details

Cargo Kills eBook Rev Wastler Paul Alvord Reviews
As someone who once got lost at the Port of Long Beach (California), I've often wondered what mysterious things might be lurking among all that cargo. This novel brings that life -- through the eyes of a business reporter, set on hunting down the truth. This book is intriguing from the first page, and reads like a screenplay. I wouldn't be surprised if one day I am sitting in the movie theatre watching it on the big screen. This was a very enjoyable read.
Relatively quick and very easy read. However, given the potential for sub-plots and story lines there regrettably is no real surprises!
